All, it's that time of year again and hope all survived the winter and are looking forward to fresh produce again.  This will be our first newsletter of the year so i will try to make it short and straight to point.  We realize that times are hard so we will be doing everything possible to continue to ensure fresh produce each week at the same cost as last year.  We are planting additional tomato and melon plots along with expanded irrigation capacity to those new areas also an additional cheese ofering for Louisville members.

*  all atempts were made to keep the price the same as last year but an $50.00 additional cost to help offset rising transportation cost had to be added.    We took the number of trips times last years gas cost per trip/divided it by customers and it came to about $3.15 per week.  Again we know how hard times are and hope this doesn't keep anyone from continuing to be a member.

** Several have asked if we can do an additional cheese offering since Kenny's Cheese is our neighbor and we would appreciate your help in figuring it out.  What we need from you if interested is Quantity (lbs) Per Week/Month X Number of weeks/Month and you can send that to me by email and we can figure out a price.

With U of L's permission we may have a small farmers stand offering each week if extras are available.
