What is a CSA, you may ask? CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) is a subscription program where members pay a set fee for produce before each season (this helps offset the producer’s initial cost of growing the produce). CSAs allow growers to focus on land stewardship and maintaining a productive and profitable small farm. Each week families receive a package of fresh, homegrown, seasonal produce at a better-than-retail price. Our multi-farm CSA is a part of F2CC’s actions linking small farmers with individual families. Members and families are welcome to visit any of our operations for fun or work. F2CC is the flow-through distribution center for this operation.
What makes our CSA different is reasonable cost and flexible offering. Our plan starts with a weekly standard package (approx. 10 lbs) of standard produce + 1-2 items for the availability optional group. You will also receive some specialty items as they come available such as melons. Quick math: $300 / 16 weeks = 18.65 per week standard package! The best part of our CSA is at pick-up you can purchase additional items based on seasonal availability and your individual needs! Single or just a couple go for the **2-PAK** special offering (1/2 a standard package)
Our plan is 16 weeks for $300/150, with sign up by May 1. All deliveries will be in the black reusable plastic crates like below, return crates each week.
